I seem to have an intermittent problem where my menu options in VB6 Service Pack 5 seem to get corrupted and half of them end up a "Resource Editor". This is easy to manually correct. The biggest problem that I have is that this time the progress bar that shows "Compiling"/"Writing EXE" is now missing. I looked in the Registry and I do not see anything obvious under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Visual Basic\6.0. I have search just about everywhere and I can't find an answer. This happened to another machine of mine a few years ago and I just lived with it. This time I am going to try to get this resolved. Anyone have any ideas.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

I know it's too late for you now, but for future problems:

Just dump the registry info to a reg file and reload it into the registry upon problems. This is what I always do, it saves you a lot of trouble.
Greetings,
Rick
