Missing transparency of psd's

Is there any way to import the transparency of psds into a flash movie? When i simply import and choose adobe photoshop format, all the transpareny is shown as white

You need Flash 5 and QT 4 or higher to import PSDs!
If you have both... try importing .png or .gif files exported from Photoshop, to see if you end up with the same problem.

Hi there

Just to add to this I have a similar problem with importing transparent gifs that the transparent area shows up as a lovely shade of black. I am using the export GIF98A (I think thats its name?) from photoshop and the files are transparent everywhere but in flash.

Is there a way around this?
