I've just installed AIX 4.3.3 but I can't get my code to compile as most of the system header files like ioctl.h, socket.h etc. are missing from /usr/include/sys. Also a few more like netinet/in.h, net/if.h, netdb.h are missing.
Can someone plz. tell me where I can get these from? Is there something wrong with my installation? Weren't they supposed to be present as part of the OS install? Can I get them from any of the other cds I got with my OS?
Plz. help.

Are you using the IBM C compiler or something else?

I believe most are in bos.adt.include...but you might consider loading all of the bos.adt filesets

lslpp -l | grep bos.adt

However as mentioned above. There is a new C compiler that has to be purchased to work with AIX 4.3.3...........or you can use shareware gcc...from the Bull site...if you do not want to purchase it.
