I've begun working with Flash 8 and of a number of project have found that they display all symbols in animations when using "FireFox" "Opera", or "Netscape" type browsers. However, IE type browsers drop "parts/symbols" of the animations. Has IE not caught up with Flash 8, or am I doing somtihng wrong in Flash?

Thanks for any help.

Well you can say that's because IE being IE! But does it happen on all the IE or just one IE? Does it happen only in the local environment, or happens in the server too? Does your IE have the right version of Flash ActiveX installed?

I've tried them in Both IE6 and Deepnet Explorer and they both lose the same symbols. I've also had other people view them and they say that parts are missing.
Heres one xeample In netscape type browsers it displays the way it was built, in IE the final pictures have parts missing.

Thanks everyone, thats what it was, my IE had an older version that needed updating.

I guess Ill have to add a diclaimer reminding everyone to make sure their IE is up to date !

Thanks again,
