I have been on my team's struts development for about 4 months now. I have encountered many times when I would like to validate one field based on the value in another field. I have read about required if, and valid when, but apparently our install didn't contain those features.
I looked around and noticed that our validator-rules.xml has a stub for the requiredIf, but it is empty. Where can I go to get this code? I am not able to just update our whole struts implementation to the latest, but I could add to the validator-rules.xml to add the missing functionality.

(For best results: hand wash in cold, tumble dry low. For not so good results: drag through puddles, pound on rocks, air dry on tree branch.)
