I have a report based on a query that returns 172 records, but only prints out 99 records. It is formated to ledger size paper and printed out in booklet format. I have the detail section set to grow, as well as the main memo field in the detail section to grow. i have reduced the size of the work area to match the size of the paper and margins. Anyone got any ideas?

Paper and page size should make no difference in the number of records that are returned in a report. Make sure your report's query displays 172 records, there is no code that cancels printing or hides sections, the detail controls are in the detail section, there is nothing in the filter property, and you are paging through all records.

Try add a text box in the report header or footer with a control source of:
=Count(*)

The count shows 172 which is the record count i get with the query. I made i new report and it shows all the records so i guess i fixed my problem, but I'd really like to find out what i did to the first one to screw it up. i was using the size of the detail section to reduce the number of records on each page and when I put it back to just below the last object int he detail section some more of the records were showing, but still not all>

We can't see your first one to know what you did. I offered several suggestions in my first reply.
