Missing Reconcile option on 8100/BES

Hello,

I've gone a quick search and can't find a solution to this.

We have 14 Blackberry users running from a BES. Every now and again I find that the Reconcile Now option from the Messaging menu is missing - and the Email Reconcilliation Menu only has one option (Delete On only instead of the other two or three options).

It seems new emails are still being synced from Exchange and to the handset - but the read flag is not being updated.

After looking around a few other forums - it seems a resend of the CMINE Service Book may fix this problem. I have to admit to being nervous to do this because I have done it in the past and sometimes find that the read/unread flag reverts to unread and some emails that were filed into subfolders appear back in the Inbox.

Has anyone come across this problem before? And if so is there a solution (instead of deleting the user from BES and re-authing her)?

In the end I did resend the Desktop (CMIME) service book (deleted it from the BB then resent). This didn't fix the out of sync emails (so emails that had been read on the BB but still showed as unread un Outlook remained) but did mean that everything started to work again after the fix.
