hello,

i am relatively new to GIMP. i'm running GIMP 2.2 on windows XP..

my problem is that i cannot find the Indexed Palette dialog! i know that it should appear under Dialogs | Indexed Palette, but i can't see it there (nor anywhere else)

can anyone suggest alternate routes to open this dialog?

i had no trouble converting my image to indexed mode (via Image | Modes | Indexed..)

in the end, what i'm trying to accomplish is tweaking the palette of my image in such a way that a change in one place (the indexed palette) propagates to every place in the image where that colour is used.. perhaps someone can suggest another GIMP technique for acheiving this cascading-style-sheet-esque colour tweaking?

thanks,
marty.

I gave you a star for finding that (and returning to tell us about it). That should put you on the (very short) MVP list for this forum.

I looked all over the menus yesterday and couldn't find it. I expected it to be in the palettes dialog, but no. Who would expect to find a palette under "colormap"?
