So here's a weird one...

.Net 1.1 app with integrated Crystal Reports (BOE/CR XI R2)

All reports run fine.
I can print and export to a variety of formats.

With the exception of ONE report. It has 2 parameters, which the user does not get to enter (passed from app -- current user and organization). It launches and the 1st page opens just fine. But if I try to print it, export it, or navigate to any page past the first I receive the following 3 errors (in order for top down) in the browser window.

Missing parameter values

CrystalReportViewer - CRWViewer

Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Any ideas?

Found the problem... this particular report contained only parameters which had their values populated programatically via the application code. There are NO user responded to parameters (when you click the link the report launches are retrieves the data).

If I add a new parameter that the user must report to the report functions correctly in all facets.

This problem started occuring after upgrading to CR XI R2 -- so I have emailed my application vendor.

Interesting...you really do learn something new every day.
