Missing parameter field current value[b/]

We have Crystal Report(CR)as packaged with VisualStudio.net We established a parameter (e.g. Header Information" on the CR report. We wish to assign a value from within our Webform1.aspx.vb code to change the Header Information. We have tried several different suggested codes but still return with same above error message "Missing parameter field current value" Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
