Does this sound familiar? In the picture usage dialogue box, linked images that were OK a moment ago, suddenly are missing or modified, and when you udate the link (point quark to where they have been all along) you get an error message FILE NOT FOUND [-43]. The only way to get past this seems to be to quit quark and try again. This is a royal pain, especially when some of our files are huge and have hundreds of links. It appears to be a random problem, but is becoming more frequent. Any help would be appreciated.

Try eliminating EnhancePreview XTension from QuarkXPress>>XTension folder.(KNOWN ISSUE)

Try placing your quark doc in with all the images, open the quark doc do not update the images, resave the quark file and reopen it. This may do the trick.

I guess you are using QuarkXPress version 4 or 5. If yes, then try disablong enhance preview XTension from QuarkXPress. Known issue with this xtension.
just give it a shot.

I'm on Windows and don't see an Enhance Preview Xtension. Must be a Mac thing...? Thanks.
