Im stuck. My boss has been happily working in his OE until i decided to change ISPs. At which point i entered the new account settings but retaining the old ones. Then the following morning all previous emails were gone, and all i had left was the new emails coming in on the the new account. Going into his Identity, i noticed there was an Inbox and Inbox(1). Hold on I aint done yet, coz the Inbox, which i'd have loved to believe contained the previous emails, was not up to date and probably the wrong ones.

He is still using the same OS profile though (Windows XP), and everything else looks fine. System restore as far back as probable 1.5 months ago did not effect any changes.

I will be eternally grateful for any assistance on this...

Start OE & all new folders will be created based on the .dbx files found in the mail store. Post back if that gets the mail back. If not, you might need to extract the mail from the corrupt .dbx file (asssuming that it still exists) that you saved to a safe location using one of the tools at
