The ODBC Drivers seem to be missing from my system for SQL Server 2000. That is, they may be physically on the system but they are not showing up in the ODBC panel so their entry is apparently missing from the system registries. Can anyone tell me how to restore them? Thanks.

Just install MDAC. Latest version is around 2.8, but any 2.7 MDAC should be fine. Should give ODBC drivers for SQL Server.

cheers

That's what I would have thought too and, in fact, I tried it a long time ago but they still do not appear among the choices. Just to be sure, I tried one more time a moment ago yet they remain missing. It was a good idea though! Can you think of anything else or is there a list anywhere of the registry values for these drivers?
