have an access2003 database (split) that has worked fine for several years. Today received error message that says missing msysdb object.
I tried to open the database holding down shift key to check references etc but am unable to even enter the program. Tried to compact/repair the database from tools and received same message. Is there anyway to get around this problem?
Thanks much

Thanks, I did try the jetcomp.exe file but it gives me an error when it trys to compact. I know I can go for a backup version but wanted to use that as a last resort. Thanks for the suggestion. Lhuffst
