OK here's the prob.
A message arrives at the exchange 2000 server sent from outside the server to a single recipient. This recipient account also has the alternate recipients feature turned on, that will send every message to an alternate recipient as well as to the intended mailbox.
This will work fine for every message except the odd time the message never appears to arrive in the intended recipients mailbox, but does arrive in the alternate repipients mailboxes.
I have performed a mail tracking on the missed message, and it shows that it was delived localy to store intendedmailbox@corp.com as well as localy to store alternatemailbox@corp.com.
If I go to his mailbox, the message is not there, and I check for rules, there are none, check views, they are normal, filters, none. Check the deleted items, not there either.
Any help you can give would be very very much appreciated.
Desperately;
Steve
