I am using Access2000. I have written a database which is also being used by Access 97 users.

I am having a proble with
= Format ([dep time] - [arrive time], "short time")

In 2000 this will give me the time between the 2 fields, however in 97 this just returns #name.

Any ideas, could this be a missing library?

Thanks

Well start at the begining.
try changing the "Short time" to "hh:nn"
I suppose you made sure you have those functions
"Dep time" and "Arrive time" in Access '97 Modules TAB.
Those are functions in your program that someone or some company created and not built in eihter version of Access.

Or when you say "Missing Library" are those functions in an .OCX you got somewhere?
See Help in Access 2000 on "#Name" - subtitle "some functions display the error #Name. It is pointing you to Msowcf.dll .
