I am saving a word document in pdf format and it ends up with missing letters. It is a normal font - nothing strange. Just a regular document. Any ideas what is going one?

When you say you are "Saving" it I am not sure what that means. When we "Save" Microsoft Word documents in PDF format we "Print" them and select a print driver called "Acrobat PDF Writer". Is that how you save them ?
My mistake - I used the wrong terminology. Yes I am printing to the pdf writer. I am used to "preparing for service bureau". I don't create very many word pdf files. Most of my stuff is some sort of graphic, but I haven't ever had missing letters the few times I have converted. I created another file and everything when just fine. Think I need to redo the bad one ?
