Hello - We use OE5 & Win95 on a Novell Network. Over the last few days we have users complaining of missing emails.
I checked MS site & all they suggest is turning the view all read messages option. THIS ISN'T IT!!! The first user i came across i tried changing the message store, compacting folders, trying to open on another machine. None of this worked. The inbox in question is over 42M, and only opens up with around 3 or 4 emails. I noticed that the inbox was salvageable in nwadmin, so i assume it somehow got deleted (maybe when i compacted folders??). I was reading a post by Koldark who uses OE6 & Win XP (i think) & they suggested McAfee - could this be a problem on Win 95/OE5 too?? PLEASE PLEASE suggestions!!! Thanks..
