Hello,

We have an ILE program object and the source code is missing. We have an old backup, made too long ago - the program has been drastically changed since then. We have been searching for ILE decompilers, so far with no success.

I just tried to access the program via STRDBG - however it was last compiled with DBGVIEW(*NONE).

Is there any way for us to either view or retrieve this source?

Thanks for any help, my fingers are crossed!

There are programs that will decompile it, but you will get field names like u0384 or something like that. I don't know any programs off the top of my head :-(. Sorry. iSeriesCodePoet

Have a look at:

They don't say anything about ILE per se - but you could call them and find out.

Good luck.
