Missing Id in sequence

Possibility to create views

I need to design a report which displays missing Ids from one table. The Id is made of two components: the year (2 digit) and a four digit running number. Example:

06-0001 > 06-9999

This field is not a primary key so in some cases a record may have been skipped or deleted. I want to create a list to show all missing Ids: 07-0026 and 07-1032

Any Ideas.
