I just upgraded my Mac to Snow Leopard, so not sure if this has anything to do with my issue.

I am opening older Indesign CS3 files that have the Arial font in them and I keep getting the warning message that these fonts are missing. How do I replace them?

Thanks,
Jen

Hi Jen,

In indesign to replace a font you choose type > find font, and use that dialogue to change the missing ones to a system installed version...

...if your problem is with illustrator then you choose the same menu command type > find font...

...i have snow leopard also, pretty good and I am experiencing no real issues. i believe apple have done away with the dfont format and now have truetype (ttf) so this is probably your issue. I never used the system fonts so can't confirm your issue is really the font change, but it is most likely...
