I upgraded from CS2 ID to CS3 ID. Somehow, my Lucida Fax fonts are now missing. Did CS3 delete these? How do I get them and exactly which directory should I place them in after finding them?

Thanks

InDesign didn't delete anything. Do a search for Lucida on your machine and you'll find the font. What platform are you Windows or Mac?

In Windows, fonts go here

C:\Windows\Fonts

on a Mac it's a little different, I can't remember though.

You may have a font manager that has made your fonts InActive.

Find out, through your search, if the font is located in any folders that have Adobe name to it. If it does, find a similar folder in the CS3 folder and copy the fonts there.

Searching for 'Lucida' may be futile. 'LFAX.TTF' is what the font file is named on my system.

Then search for that. Or google some filename variations that it might be named. I don't expect to have to do everything for people that post, some user interaction is required HA HA :D
