Hi i have IDCS installed on my system. And i seem to be missing a load of fonts. I only have 60 on my drop down menu. I installed it another machine and there are far more fonts.

Why do i have so few fonts?
How do i add more fonts?

Thanks

Ben

Re-create the Adobe font list files.
In Windows:
1. Quit InDesign and any other Adobe applications.
2. Open the Search window:
-- In Windows XP or 2000, choose Start > Search > For Files or Folders.
-- In Windows Me, 98, or NT, choose Start > Find > Files or Folders.
3. Search for the font list files:
-- In Windows XP, type "Adobefnt*.lst" (including the quotation marks) in the All or Part of the File Name box, and then click Search.
-- In Windows Me, 2000, 98, or NT, type "Adobefnt*.lst" (including the quotation marks) in the Named box, and then click Find Now.
4. Select all files listed, and choose File > Delete. (If you delete a font list file for another Adobe applications, the file is re-created the next time the Adobe application is started.)
5. Restart InDesign. InDesign re-creates the font list files during startup.

In Mac OS X:

-- In Mac OS X v10.0-10.1.x, click the hard drive icon at the top of the Sherlock window, type Adobefnt.lst in the box, and then click the magnifying glass.
3. Select the file, and choose File > Move to Trash.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 for the files Adobefnt05.lst and Adobefnt06.lst.
5. Restart InDesign. InDesign re-creates the font list files during startup.

In Mac OS 9.x:
1. Quit InDesign and any other Adobe applications.
2. Choose Sherlock from the Apple Menu.
3. Type Adobefnt.lst in the Contains box, and then click Find.
4. Select the file, and choose File > Move to Trash.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 for the files AdobeFnt05.lst and AdobeFnt06.lst.
6. Restart InDesign. InDesign re-creates the font list files during startup.
