Interesting problem, I have a user who gets an error when he launches Accpac, "You do not have a license to use this product."
After seacrhing your forum I found the following thread from jayconverse
"It's not a permissions issue at all. Your SharedData folder doesn't point to where the licenses are. Look at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ACCPAC International, Inc,\ACCPAC\Configuration\SharedData
On my machine this points to the Pluswin folder on the network server, which works fine.
On the user's computer there should be four folders under the ACCPAC entry in the registry, Configuration, Debug, Web and registration. This user only has the Debug folder under this entry. So I am unable to look at the SharedData folder.
Any suggestions short of unistalling and reinstalling this software. It never seems to uninstall everything or install the same way. Sorry for the long story.
Thanks for any help on this

Sounds like he uninstalled the client. Heck, just export the Accpac International Inc. registry key from your PC and import it into his.
