Missing Folder Thumnails

After running Norton system works from the CD to clean up my W98 system,
I now don't have thumbnails in folders. I did get them when I highlighted a
jpg, in all folders, now I can't get the thumbnail preview thing to work. Did I do
something or am missing a component now? Need help!
