I have Solaris 8 running apache everything has been good thus far but recently, one of the users noticed that when logging in ftp or telnet they see no files and have no permissions in there own home/root directory. I have not modified anything, if I login as root all the files are there and files permissions appear to be correct( I tried changing them from one user to another, same result). I also noticed that I can nolonger login to the console's graphical desktop only in command line mode. Any help or comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
