Please excuse me if this is the wrong place to post this question but I am new to this place and still finding my feet.
I am running SBS 2003 and had some issues with the fax service delivering to wired places, I stupidly decided to uninstall the service and start again. I now have a problem when I try to reinstall the service, everything seems to be fine but no fax printer is installed. If I run fax configuration I get a message to share the printer first, if I continue all seems to be fine i.e. I can set-up the company name and contact info but still no printer. Any ideas?
I have uninstalled 3 times and restarted after each stage, have also uninstalled the fax modem but nothing changed.
I read somewhere if you right click in printers and faxes the bottom option is "install a local fax printer" but I have "send a fax" which to me would indicate that the printer is already installed! If I send a fax using this method I can go through the motions without any errors but the fax never turns up in the fax consol nor dose it send.
Your help would be most gratefully received.
