Missing Export to Excel 7 Extended

Hello,

Has anyone experienced the above problem. We use Crystal 8 and create executibles. These and the accompanying CRF and RPT are placed on a network drive and then using Excel as a front end with a shell command we fire up the executibles. However when the user goes to export the report the option to do so to Excel 7 Extended is there in fact the highest Excel option is 5 (both extended and not). What is even stranger is that this problem seems to be intermitten in that it happens all of a sudden, when they log in it gone. The IT teams have had to rebuild the machine and 2 times out of 3 it's seems to have restored it, but one individual even after rebuilding still hasn't got this option.

Any suggestions.

Oracle 7, Crystal 7 (although in our development team we use 8).

When you compiled the original report, did you check the "include .dlls for exporting" checkbox?

It is possible that individual machines would have this .dll anyway, or at least one version of it, but to be safe this needs to be distributed witht he compiled report.
