Hello All,
I was hoping someone could shed some light on a problem we are seeing here. I have an Exchange 5.5 sp4 server on Windows 2000 server sp4. We have nightly jobs on a DEC Alpha Server running OpenVMS that send out reports to email accounts that reside on the Exchange server. Most of these reports go to distribution lists but some may go to specific email address. Regularly, some of the reports turn up missing. The missing reports seem to coincide with the rate at which the reports are sent out. For instance, 4 reports to distrobutions lists were sent out at 1:25 am this morning, but one member of the list only recieved two of them. All for messages are listed in the event viewer.
To give some more background, this problem has persisted in the past when the mail was relayed to our corporate smtp servers than sent to the exchange box, so changing the relay doesn't seem to ahve solved the problem.
thanks.
