Hi all,

I have a strange problem with my works laptop at the moment, which someone hopefully might be able to help with. Basically when I load Windows Explorer it displays only the desktop, it doesn't show any of the other drives I have - including C:, D:, The CD-ROM or any networked drives. I have been looking through the forums here and the most common cause of this seems to be the use of the TweakUI application, which I do not have (and I can't download it to a works PC).

I can access the drives by typing in C: but I am having problems because the same, faulty display is being shown in installShield and I can't change that display which makes me think it may be a problem with Explorer.

I've looked at all the Microsoft help pages and none of them seem to help. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

I've had a look at the group policy and these settings are fine. Windows Explorer still does not work properly :)
