Missing disk space

I have Windows 2003 Server installed running Exhcange 2003.
I am missing up to 7GB of disk space. When I reboot it comes back.

I am using a Dell Server with mirrored drives.
On the weekend I had to reboot 3 times to get the 7GB back.

I am concnerned that there might be something wrong with the Array or something in the OS I have missed.

The D drive where I am missing the space only has the Public Folder on it. That is about 12 GB of Data. It is a 20 GB partition.

Has anyone seen or heard of this before? I am not sure if it is a Windows Server issue or an Exchange issue.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Do you have shadow copies turned on?

Shadow copies are disabled.

It is realy weird. Almost like there is a hole somewhere and the free space just trickles out of it.

Maybe a utility like WinDirStat or TreeSize can help you identify the culprit?
