Hello,
I am currently using a Sun drive type: sun 72g
This is a 72 gig disk, however, the sparc system v120 that I am using, is telling me that I only have 33gigs of space to work with. Can someone please help me? Am I missing something?

I have attempted to format the disk, hoping to blow away the partition table, but that has not corrected the issue. Please help. How do I make it so that it is recognized as a 72 gig drive.

Thanks.

Can you post the prtvtoc for the disk?

I want to be good, is that not enough?

Solution:
# format

>Chose type command from format menu (select a disk type)
format> type

>Chose 0, auto configure from available drive types
Specify disk type: 0

This blew away the partition tables. Now able to recognize the disk at full capacity. I have no idea how it got screwed up in the first place.

Strange one, John, but have a star for bothering to post the solution.

I want to be good, is that not enough?
