I am having trouble viewing data that I have exported from Raiser’s Edge 7.85.5026.0 in Crystal Reports 11.0.0.1282.
I exported the data (gifts for a certain day) that I want to view in Crystal Reports onto my desktop in Blackbaud Report Writer Database format. I called it “test.mdb”. I created the layout that I’d like to use in Crystal Reports, saved it as MailLog.mdb, and previewed the data in the report. It looked fine.
Then, I exported the gifts for another day from Raiser’s Edge using the same export, and saved this data on the desktop with the same name—test.mdb. Now, when I open MailLog.mdb and try to preview this data in Crystal Reports, no data shows up. The fields remain the same on the report, but “Records: 0” appears in the blue rectangle to the lower right of the screen (next to the time). Yet, if I right click on one of the fields in the Field Explorer, and choose “Browse Data”, I see all of the data that should be showing up on the report.
Any ideas on how I can get the data to show up on my report?
