I have a novell 5.1 network
I have a total of 9 servers
My main server running veritas backup exec
I recently had one of my servers crash requiring a new
hard drive. after installing novell. i restored my backup files to vol 1 on my server. all files seem to have copied over however, most of my ms office document are empty. they are there but contain no data and the file attributes state that the files are 0kb in size. But, when i view the files in veritas they still show having the correct size attributes when i view the properties which tells me that the files should be backed up properly , im just missing something with the restore. any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you have the exclude data stream unchecked in the restore options.
The exclude data stream option is for people that want to restore trustee rights only and not the actual data. Pretty nice feature I would say.
