I need help big time. I am not sure if what I am dealing with is a bug or user error (mine). After re-opening a database I have lost the ability to generate several queries and reports. I had several backups of the database and some of them were working after closing the application and restarting and some of them were not.
I created queries that performed calculations that I would need on a report called invoices.
I added a parameter form so that I could have one central location where the parameters could be entered and any query that had a parameter was looking up these values fine.
I created a report with a main report that pulled from one query, and two sub reports that each had their own query.
Last night everything was working perfectly.
This morning I open up the database (complete my form parameters) and then open up a query and no results are returned. I ran the invoice and no data is being pulled into it (which I assume is because the queries they are based on aren't pulling the data). It's almost as if a refresh or something needs to be done - but that doesn't make sense to me because the queries always have worked fine in the past and no data has been changed or added to the tables... It just seems that after I added my super duper gorgeous form - these quirks started happening.
The tables are still working fine and I have not received any error messages.
I am in serious stress mode because I was supposed to make a presentation of how Microsoft Access can improve our billing process and I went to open the application and generated blank invoices. Not good.
Thanks for any suggestions or help. Before the problems started, I already had all of the latest Microsoft updates installed.
Thanks,
Gretchen
