Missing contacts in outlook

Hello all, I have a user that when she clicks the contact button in outlook all her contacts show there.....but when she starts a new message and tries to add contact in the to: line it can't find the list of contacts. outlook is pointing to the right place on the the server for her archive and personal pst files. also if you goto tools\address book, they don't show there either. I'm stuck. what you you think?

Try doing a search on "missing contacts" also it would help if you could tell us which version and if you are using exchange or not.

Find the folder in Outlook. Right click>Properties>Address Book. Check the box.
