Missing class in system library 1

I am getting an error trying to compile existing Java project.
Class java.util.regex.Pattern not found in import

Looks liek whole regex class is missing from java.util package. I have downloaded the latest J2EE 1.4. What is wrong?? I am using Visual Cafe

Sounds like you do not have JDK 1.4 loaded in visual cafe.

I just noticed also, you said you have J2EE 1.4 - do you mean J2EE or J2SE ?

In any case, you defintely do not have J2SE 1.4 or higher installed.
