Hello,

This is a re-post from June '07. What I have done since then:

Deleted & reconfigured the backup, no change.

Posted on Google groups

I followed all the instructions, emailed the MS guy the logs, he replied with something requiring the SBS CDs, I had health issues arise, and the case was forgotten. What follows is the text from my original post here:

It is just an annoyance, but I'd like to find the solution. When I select "Backup" from Server Management, I get:

Code:
The Page Cannot Be Displayed

A problem has occurred with the Manage Small Business Server Backup snap in. Close and re-open Server Management. If this problem continues, restart the IIS Admin Service.

I did restart the IIS Admin service with no change. All links to tasks in the left pane work, I just don't get the main page displayed.

Please note that I recently recovered from a C: drive disaster, but this was occurring before the crash. As a side note, after I installed SP1 last June, none of the monitoring features worked. I looked in the root of my data array (L:) and found folders named Monitoring, AdminHelp, CompanyWeb, ConnectComputer, essentially all the contents that should be in the C:\Inetpub folder.

I copied all of the folders over, overwriting the originals on C:, and the features worked perfectly, including Backup. I tried today overwriting the current C:\Inetpub\Backup folder with the one on the L: drive, but no change. I replaced the original folder.

This is non-critical as all backup functions are accessible, it's just the page that can't be displayed. No biggie, i just want a perfect install. Any ideas?

Tony
