Our office is running Novell Netware System 4.1.1 with Back up Exec 8.0. During the week in the evenings we are running incremental jobs and on the weekends running Full back up job. Couple of problems that we are having is after a full back up on the weekend we are finding that files are missing. We go back to the tape to restore the files and they are not shown in the catalog. The tape shows in job history that it ran for the full expected amount of time and the correct amount of space. We can not find the file itself.

We have tried:
- unload and reload back up Exec. (not install)
- Reboot the server
- Re-Built Cataloge

In the past (about 2 years ago) we had a raid controller go out on us but since then we have been stable for 440 days and all backed up files seem to be good since then until know...

Any ideas why files are behind deleted (drive going bad?) and any clue why back up exec is only backing up some files? Any thoughts or ideas to try would be appreciated.

Thank you
