Missing attachments in Outlook 5 1

I am experincing several problems with attachments when sending to Outlook Express 5 users.<br>

The attachments just disapear.<br>

Anyone else had this problem.<br>

I believe you have to click on the attachment button to see the attach file(s). The button usually appear on the top right of the email messages. It look like the attach button.<br>

I'm experiencing the same problem in Outlook 2000 - none of my attachments make it to my recipients. Although the sent message folder shows the email message has an attachment. This happened before in Windows 98 w/ outlook 5. I did a complete &quot;fresh install&quot; of Windows 2000 and Office 2000 and it went away. I leave for two days and now it's back.....
 
Change the Outlook Email file type to text. You most likely have it set for html or rtf.

Tools>Options>Mail Format:
Change message format to Plain Text.
