Hello,
I have a few questions in regards to corel draw 12
i have a object i created out of three shapes
now when i group them together and do the transparent tool it shows the lines for the objects behind
see image here so my qustion is how can i group them together so this does not happen also how can i group 3 object together and still be able to use like the perspective tool?

Well, no, that is not *an object* out of 3 shapes. That is 3 shapes you grouped together, which is something totally different because they're still 3 separate objects. To create a single object out of multiple objects, you have to weld or merge them together first. Granted, that will mean they all will be the same color because they're all the same object. It seems you're not sure which you want to do because you're mixing the terms back and forth like they were interchangeable (grouping and single objects). It's not clear what you're trying to accomplish. Perhaps if you spell out exactly what you're trying to do, the process will become clearer to everyone involved?

well what i want is for those lines not to show like that which I guess may not be possible

however my problem with the perspective tool is strange because im looking at some corel tutorials and the guy does this he groups objects together then uses the perspective tool

Well, yes, you can group items together and use the Perspective Tool. Showing the lines and using the Perspective Tool have nothing to do with each other, though.

Just group your items together (select them/then ctrl-g to group) then click Effects|Add Perspective.

Adding a perspective has nothing to do with anything being transparent or showing lines though. Just group your items together, then click Effects|Add Perspective.. then grab a handle and change the perspective of the items.

well i found out why that wasnt working for me if you use the mesh tool first then you can select the add perspective effect. which kinda sucks
