Recent questions by one member are nothing more ( in my opinion ) than a blatant attempt at improving SE ranking.

Search Engine

But I wonder if this is the intent because the few URLs that I have seen were for works in progress. Ideally, one would not want a search engine linking to works in progress.

Jimoblak if you click on links within these 'works in progress' pages, you always arrive at the same website ( which I do not wish to name ).

I would be less concerned about a weak attempt to influence search engine rankings and more concerned about the elementary level of web design of the target site. It looks like a student project. It does not seem natural that anyone associated with that site would be certified in Adobe and Macromedia as alleged.

The immaturity of the site design lends me to doubt that the author of the site even knows how to affect search engine rankings.

I respect your opinions and the logic. I do, however, remain rather suspicious.
