I have an issue with my setup as follows,
When Gameing certain graphics appear as all one color.

I have found that in 3D Gaphics mode whilst playing HALF LIFE some scenes present a problem to fore/back ground color. The back ground when under water becomes all blue with occasional bloches of solid. I tryed swithching to OpenGl mode only to find that the back ground was now working correctly and the fore ground had now become one blanked out color. I have try'd varrious changes to my
system settings but to no evail - can anyone help please.

System Def:-
IIYAMA 17' T917T - monitor
MIS K7T266 Pro2 - motherboard
AMD Athlon 1700+ - chip
512k DDR RAM - memory
ASUS V8200 T2 GeForce-3 - graphics
CREATIVE Sound Blaster 5.1 Live - sound

It could be damage to part of your video card. The CASCADE feature could be damaged through impropper handling. If you can find an exact card to replace it with, the comparison would give you the answer.

Recommendations:

1) Install DirectX 8.1
2) INSTALL Nvidia 23.11 Drivers from the website
> File name = Win9x-Me_23.11

Run that also.

OR HERE:
These patches / updates to the game are critical.
