Morning All,

Now I know this is a "Cisco" switch forum but im sure you all can help me with this one. I a simply trying to perform port mirroring on my Dell PowerConnect 3448. I enter:

McCoySwitch1(config)# interface ethernet e1
McCoySwitch1(config-if)# port monitor e8
McCoySwitch1# show ports monitor

The switch will keep forwarding packets for about 3 min and then all transmission cease to exist after that. I cannot talk to the switch and nobody on the network can talk to anything else. But when I remove this command everything works perfectly.

Any thoughts... Here's my running config...
