Hi there,
I have a NAS unit running Flash Linux and I am trying to create a mirror of a Windows 20000 File Server on it. It's not required to be mirrored in real time, just updated once every 24 hours before it's backed up.
The problem is this: I was using Robocopy to mirror the servers but it appears that it's not working correctly. Deleted files on the source are not always being deleted at the destination and updated files are not being updated! I thought of using smbmount and the cp command from the Flash linux unit but smbmount is not supported!
Does any one know of any software that can mirror data (don't need to worry about permissions) between a 2000 server and a Linux server?
Thanks for any help,
Glenn
