Mirroring Drive

I think my HD is a bit unstable. I was told to mirror it. How do I do that?
 
Not sure what you were told...

Mirroring is normally a RAID 1 function.

If you think that this drive is becoming flacky...back it up while it is still functional. This requires a HD of at least the size of all data contained. You ccan use HD mfg's utils for this or a 3rd party app like Acronis True Image or Ghost.

This will yeild you a full & complete 'clone' of your HD with the functional OS.

At a minimum, back up the important data...as the OS can be reloaded.
