Hi all,
I just installed StandBy Server 5.3 on our
server. 1 production server (Netware 5.1 SP 3)
with 4 disks, one StandBy Server with the same
setup using a dedicated link between the 2
servers. Installation went smooth, standby server
can see the primary and vica versa. In NWCONFIG
on the primary server I select the Standard Disk
Options, from the Available Disk Options menu I
select Mirror/Unmirror Disk Partitions, from the
Disk Partition Mirroring Status window I select
the disk partition containing live data I want to
mirror to another partition. I see the standby
volumes in the list, I use F5 to select one,
press enter and escape back to the list. Nothing
seems to happen after that! If I choose another
disk the disk I previously choose for mirroring
is gone but nothing seems to happen! When I type
MIRROR STATUS on the console it just keeps saying
that the drive is NOT MIRRORED. All partitions on
the standby server have either a netware
partition with the same size or a bigger size. I
have no clue what to do next. Any help is very
much appreciated.
