Any Ideas? Need to mirror data storage between two different NAS units. One Maxtor and one Iomega. OS is not the issue just data and permissions.

You can copy shares and security with a product called Hyena, it's a little manual. Delete shares on the destination, then select all shares on the source, right click and copy to... beats copying individually, oh... don't delete c$, f$, or admin$ shares.

You can copy the data easily with a Win2k file called robocopy, just arrange your folders correctly to start with and it's simple. ie make a hidden share backup$ under the c, or f drive then robocopy f:\backup$ ... there are a few switches for files in use and retries tec but it works a treat, you can script it and put it in the scheduler.
