I am new to HP_UX.... What is the simplest way to determine if a filesystem/logical volume is mirrored and how many mirrors there are...

In AIX, I just run a "lsvg -l" on each of the Volume Groups and compare LPs vs. PPs and the number of PVs of each Logical Volume....

or run a lslv on each logical volume and note copies... Takes longer, but is cleaner.....

vgdisplay -v vg_yourvg

lvdisplay /dev/vg_yourvg/lvol

Take a look to "mirror" line in the lvol config.

Thanks... Now I can write a script to list all the volume groups, then their associated logical volumes and if they are mirrored......
