Mirrored data problem

I have two disks in RAID 1.
One of the disk often goes offline.
My problem is when i make that drive ONLINE the previous working disk updates all its data with the later one.

Now if the disk goes offline for 2 Hrs, then it will not have latest data of 2 Hrs, the previously working disk will update himself according to this disk when i make it ONLINE.

Can u pls help me..
I want to save my data on both disks.

Are you using software or hardware raid?
This could be a serios problem if you have a hw raid
contoller and I would check with the manufacturer for known issues. Otherwise your config could be bad, or you
have bad hardware, etc..
What do your logs look like prior to the mirror fail?

I am using hardware raid.
My problem is system is not logging anything
I think the raid controller card is faulty.
I'll have check the same thing on diff. controllers.
